Dr Daniel Bangert is Ireland’s National Open Research Coordinator, based at the Digital Repository of Ireland, Royal Irish Academy. In this role he works with Ireland’s National Open Research Forum on the delivery of a National Action Plan for the implementation of open research across Ireland. Daniel has a background in European open science projects, academic librarianship, digital humanities, musicology, and music performance. He is a member of the Council for National Open Science Coordination and the EOSC Association’s Task Force on Research Careers, Recognition and Credit.
