The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is a member of the Helmholtz Association of Germany Researchers and is funded, respectively, by the Federal Republic of Germany and the state of Baden- Württemberg. With over 9,500 staff and 25,000 students, KIT is leading in innovation, research and teaching in the fields of energy, mobility and information. The Steinbuch Centre for Computing (SCCC), KIT’s computing centre, is involved in national and EU-wide data infrastructure projects.
