The Research Data Alliance (RDA) is an international organisation focused on developing infrastructure and community activities in order to reduce barriers to data sharing and exchange and promote the acceleration of data-driven innovation worldwide. The RDA is an independent forum, gathering participants from different countries and profiles, and tackles a wide range of data challenges through its Working Groups and exploratory Interest Groups. It envisions researchers and innovators openly sharing data across technologies, disciplines and countries to address grand societal challenges. The RDA community is currently made up of over 11,000 individual members from 145 countries, with over 50% from the European RDA community.
