The Scuola Normale Superiore (SNS) is an internationally ranked university, based in Pisa and Florence, which currently hosts around 600 undergraduate and graduate students. Despite its small size, the SNS hosts a large number of highly competitive grants, including six active ERC grants and an ITN network. Currently, the Astrophysics and Cosmology group hosts two active European Research Council grants. Research in the group focuses on astrophysical cosmology, cosmic dawn, the first galaxies and more.
