A service provided by many research community infrastructures that enables users to access those services and tools with their institutional credentials. A federated Authentication and Authorization Infrastructure (AAI) for EOSC means a service provided by many research community infrastructures enables users to access those services and tools with their institutional credentials. The same federated AAI is available to all core EOSC services and offers guidelines for application developers who consider implementing EOSC type federated AAI in new services.
During the EOSC Future project, the work consisted in:
- Improving the EOSC-Core Infrastructure Proxy and providing operational support
- Adding support for High Availability in the RCAuth CA
- Ensuring the operation of the IGTF x509 to SAML2 Bridge
- Implementing support tools to ensure the quality of the delivered services
- Implementing the EOSC AAI Federation
- Supporting the Science Clusters, Research Infrastructures and e-Infrastructures to use the EOSC
