11/09/2023 - 14/09/2023 - 10.00-12.00 CESTOnline

For those who could not make our sessions in June 2023, we are hosting another active learning series for EOSC trainers!

This 4-day online course covers 4 different modules for trainers to enhance their understanding of EOSC and various related topics alongside their ability to integrate it into their training activities. Note, this training is not an introduction to EOSC, and so participants are expected to have some knowledge of EOSC and the EOSC Portal.

The training offered in this Active Learning Course is as follows:

  1. Monday, 11 Sept, 10.00-12.00 CEST: Preparing to train about EOSC
  2. Tuesday, 12 Sept, 10.00-12.00 CEST: Using the EOSC Portal
  3. Wednesday, 13 Sept, 10.00-12.00 CEST: Incorporating Accessibility into Training on EOSC
  4. Thursday, 14 Sept, 10.00-12.00 CEST: Addressing legal and ethical issues relating to EOSC use

Trainers can sign up for one, all, or a combination of the modules, depending on their interests and needs. The course will be delivered online via Zoom from 11-14 September.

Unsure which session is for you?

In Preparing to Train about EOSC, trainers will gain an overview of EOSC with a training perspective, its role in enabling open science, and its main components.

In Using the EOSC Portal, trainers are introduced to the various services and functionalities available on the EOSC Portal and how they can utilise them in their training activities.

In Incorporating Accessibility into Training on EOSC, trainers are introduced to various aspects of accessibility, including disability, language, and internet access equity, and how they can make training on EOSC more accessible.

Finally, in Addressing Legal and Ethical Issues relating to EOSC Use, the training will cover the legal and ethical issues involved in EOSC use, and the ways in which trainers can address these issues in their training activities.

Note: A 5th module in the Train the Trainers content of EOSC Future, Crafting your own Training using the EOSC Knowledge Hub and Other Resources, will not receive a workshop in this ALC.
