The 2021 SEE User Forum, jointly hosted by EOSC Future with GÉANT and NI4OS-Europe, has offered a platform for researchers and national research and education networks (NRENs) to exchange experiences, insights and best practices for open science.
NRENs are a solid reference point for local and pan-EU research and educational communities. In fact, NRENs play a crucial role in enabling each researcher and scientist to carry out their jobs.
This 2-day online event has focused on ‘Strengthening the role of Research & Education Networks in the Open Science era’. An expert-packed agenda has showcased services, such as AAI, that enable the regional research community to connect safely and securely with peers and respective institutions.
On 3 November, EOSC Future hosted dedicated sessions on:
- the added value of EOSC for research – presentation
- the role of national research and education networks in EOSC – presentation
- EOSC for users – presentation
- regional services for the EOSC community.
These sessions were an opportunity to ask questions about EOSC Future, project milestones and next steps.
