Stephan Siemen is a Policy Officer at the unit C1 “Open science and digital modelling” of DG-Connect of the European Commission located in Luxembourg. Previously as the Head of Development at ECMWF, he has been involved in many Big Data and Cloud activities as well as the development of operational services and science infrastructures in the weather and climate community.
