As part of its RDA Open Calls mechanism, the EOSC Future project is organising an online info share session. The event will focus on the first Open Call – Optimising (RDA) Open Science Frameworks and Guidelines in the context of EOSC. It will also provide an overview of future call plans. Register now
EOSC Future’s RDA Open Calls aim to connect data initiatives to EOSC, providing EOSC with expertise, tools, best practices, and standards from the global research data community. Over the coming two years, the one-million-euro mechanism will award over 65 grantees during nine open calls.
The first RDA Open Call, Optimising (RDA) Open Science Frameworks and Guidelines in the context of EOSC, specifically targets small projects exemplifying the implementation and uptake of RDA recommendations. It aims to support and encourage applicants that have adopted existing recommendations and outputs to share examples and lessons learnt within the broader EOSC community. Successful applicants should consider implementation scenarios and documentation that can answer questions like:
- Is the guidance up to date and ready to be operationalised?
- What communities can be involved in updating it?
- Are they aligned on new emerging standards, global or European?
The call is open for applications until 29 October 2021, 16.00 CEST.
